Jeanne was appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger as Clean Energy Advisor at the California Public Utilities Commission in March 2006. She was the team leader to design the California Solar Initiative and now advises on energy efficiency policies and strategic planning, including the Governor’s Green Building Executive Order. Over her career she has worked on integrated resource planning, demand side management, sustainable development, and climate change mitigation in a variety of roles, including local, state, and national government policy and strategy, utility program management, and consulting to utilities and business. Her work has spanned from California and across the U.S. to developing countries via World Bank, USAID, and UN Development Program assignments.
